Pax In Terra is a registered 501c3 non-profit corporation dedicated to promotion of human dignity through the development of sustainable communities. Our work takes us around the world and in our backyard. Locally, we work with a network of friends and volunteers to manage an urban farm at Blessed Sacrament Church in Bridgeport, CT and support a food pantry there. Pax in Terra also supports a Bridgeport garden on the corner of Newfield and Eagle Street which supports nearby community members directly. Some of the food grown at Andalusia Farms is donated there. You can find out more here: www.paxinterra.org

Some of the farm activities include:

Building and supporting the farm with plants and expertise

In 2017, we expanded the Eagle Street garden to include a few beds of berries. We worked with children from the YANA Bridgeport organization, a group dedicated to helping families and children during difficult times, as well as several corporate sponsors to build the beds. The Eagle Street Garden has been very fruitful this summer.
